These instructions will work for the 3rd Generation Nest Thermostat. \nNest Temperature Sensors: https:\/\/amzn.to\/3EGHOZB\n\nWhen you factory reset a Nest Thermostat it will delete all information from the Nest Thermostat and it will need to be set back up. \n\nIf you are moving out of a house with a nest thermostat or moving into a house with a nest thermostat it&#8217;s ideal to factory reset the Nest Thermostat and set it up on a new account. \n\nHow To Set Up Nest Thermostat: https:\/\/youtu.be\/BjmLm6l3K7A?si=JsYrOriNuWqgzggP&amp;t=528\n\nHow To Factory Reset Nest Thermostat\n1) Make sure the nest thermostat is on and currently working. \n2) Tap at the bottom of the Nest which will pull up the menu. \n3) Use the outer dial to make a selection and select the &#8220;Settings&#8221; gear icon. \n3) Scroll using the outer dial until you get to the &#8220;reset&#8221; option and then make the selection. \n4) Now scroll to &#8220;All settings&#8221; to make the selection to reset your Nest Thermostat to Factory Defaults. \n5) Make the selection by rotating the outer dial and it will take about 1 minute for the Nest Factory Reset to complete.
