It connects directly to your wifi system for control. \n\nI&#8217;ve had the Eufy Smart Lock for 3 months and haven&#8217;t had any issues with the device. The only thing I have noticed is that with heavy usage it does consume batteries quicker than some other smart locks I&#8217;ve tested.
